- Ed, no one is saying that a DTE of 230kbps is impossible. We ARE saying that
- increases in modem-to-modem bit rates have a more significant effect on the
- transfer of "real-world" files than things like ESP's and increased v.42bis
- dictionary sizes. You seem to be alone in your opinion that a 14.4 with an
- ESP is faster than a 28.8 without... Take Navas' challenge or stop making
- unsupported claims.
